A woman was caught stealing wine bottles after the shooting that occurred during the White House Correspondents’ Association dinner on Saturday night (25).
While most guests rushed to evacuate the ballroom of the Hilton in Washington, some people chose to stay behind to take what was left from the dinner.
According to the The New York Post, the shooting took place right at the beginning of the dinner, when only the salad had been served. As a result, a large number of wine bottles were left unattended on the tables.
Although the woman’s identity has not been disclosed, she quickly drew attention from internet users for her boldness. “How is this stealing? They were placed on the tables for the dinner. They were meant to be consumed. Everything was already paid for,” one X user commented.
